Educational Internships operated by Oceans Aware

The primary goal of Oceans Aware is education, and an important part is helping individuals who are passionate about the marine environment gain the skills they need, in order to spread the message of conservation and awareness further.

By working in close relation to our research scientists, the following Oceans Aware Internships have been designed to train individuals to utilize their love for our oceans to educate others.

Oceans Aware | Educational Internships

Oceans Aware operates a variety of Educational Internships which are designed to help people who are compassionate about conserving our marine environment, gain the skills and experience required to help raise awareness in the general public. Our Mossel Bay Internship operates in conjunction with our Meet the sharks: outreach Eductional project, where interns visit various schools along the Garden Route, presenting on the importance of marine species such as sharks, whales and dolphins.
